The powerful refrigerant spray

With the newly developed refrigerant spray VABAFreeze 1, workpieces can be quickly cooled down to approx. -40 °C to -50 °C. As this quick-freeze enables a very easy demold of the composite part, using VABAFreeze 1 is very time saving and reduces the risk of defects on the product.


The vacuum bagging film for high temperature applications

VABATEC particularly designed the new vacuum bagging film VABALON 400 for the use with thermoplastic matrix materials. It withstands highest working temperatures up to 400°C and shows a high pressure resistance. The material can be customized in the width and thickness.


New release films
RF 11 and RF 22

RF 11 is the new release film developed for the use as a plotter cutter film. The film is robust enough to keep the core textiles and on the same time has excellent tear properties in order to be cut easily in the plotters.

With RF 22, a unique release film has been specially developed to achieve a matt surface on the components. It shows very high release properties against all common resin systems including phenolics.

VABATEC is partner of the R&D collaboration project

The research project MAI ACoSaLUS aims at the automated, series-ready production of sandwich components with composites skin-layers using the 3D-AFP respectively FPP process. Project partners are the GKN Aerospace Deutschland, SGL Technologies GmbH, Cevotec GmbH, Vischeck GmbH as well as the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and the Technical University of Munich. Co-funding authority is the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy. VABATEC GmbH provides newly developed vacuum aids for the elaboration of a corresponding gripper-based application technology.

JEC World 2020

RF 42M

VABATEC launched this new development in January 2020.

The film has been developed for continuous use under high temperature and pressure and can be used for a long time (1-2 hours) at up to 210°C.



A "ready to use" infusion system

In 2019/2020 VABATEC developed the innovative, patented (German patent), self-adhesive infusion system FLIPs T1.

This innovative solution combines for the first time all necessary elements (incl. spray adhesive), offers cost and time savings and enables additional increases in productivity.



The new humidity insensitive vacuum film
(up to 150°C) from VABATEC

In September 2018 VABATEC GmbH completed the development of a new innovative vacuum film for the temperature range up to 150°C.

This new humidity insensitive VABALON 150 vacuum film is initially available in a thickness of 70µm as flat film, half tube and tube.


RF 2

The new Relese Film from VABATEC

End of 2017, VABATEC GmbH completed the development of its new release film for the temperature range up to 150°C.

The new RF 2 release film is also available in a perforated version (RF 2P); two types of perforation (HN1 and HN2) for the different applications are already included in the current product portfolio.
